Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is such an exciting night for us. Ever since Bella was born we have let her open one gift on Christmas Eve and it is so fun and exciting for us. This year it was so fun and exciting for her because she knew what was going to happen that evening and coudn't wait to see what she would get from mommy and daddy.

We also get to do our Christmas with the Crains. We usually have a fiesta Christmas party with everyone in the family and we do our homemaid gift exchange and the kiddos exchange gifts too. This year things were a little different. My Aunt and Uncle came in from Brazil and so we spent the afternoon and most of the evening welcoming them and spending much needed time that we haven't had in over 10 years. It was so exciting to have them here. Needless, to say we didn't get to go to our Christmas Eve Party and exchance our gifts. This year Bella had Maddie and Lyla had Carter and they were both at home not feeling so well, so we stopped in at aunt Lorries and gave the girls their gifts. Grammy and Pappa Crain came over too to see the girls and bring them their gifts too.

Here are a few shots from our time together at Aunt Lorries house.

Lyla had been wanting the Spanish Baby Alive for quite some time. The first time she saw it she fell in love. Probably because all of our other babies are blondes and this one looked just like her. Aunt Lorrie and Uncle Mike went on a search for this baby on their anniversary night and found her for Lyla. The funny part is that we all thought that she would surely speak English or atleast have a switch that would allow her to, but we were wrong! She speaks Spanish and ALOT of it! Such a cute baby and Lyla loves her! She gigles every time the baby talks because she doesn't understand her. It's hillarious!

She is so precious when playing with baby dolls!

I wish I had gotten a better shot of these precious barbie tents that Grammy got for the girls. They were hand made and absolutely adorable! The girls couldn't wait to get home and put all of their barbies to bed in their tents so Santa could come for them too!

Here they are Christmas eve night all excited waiting for daddy to bring them their gifts! Silly girls!

So excited about their special snow globes from mommy and daddy!

They were SO happy about their beautiful, silky princess night gowns we got them! Lyla was singing like Ariel! She's a hoot!

Leaving their letters they worked so hard on for Santa. Daddy told them that Santa's favorite cookies are Chocolate Chip and plain Sugar cookies. So that's what we made him! Bella insted we leave carrots for the Reindeer.

Lyla so happy about her first snow globe. I told her to shake it and she put it down on the floor, stood up and started to "shake it"! Funny girl! We were dying laughing!

Bella in her new warm robe! The child is always cold, so this was the perfect gift for her!

Daddy, reading The Night Before Christmas to the girls.

Merry Christmas To All and To All A Good Night......
